Terry Harris has had extensive
experience in Theatre, TV, and Communications. Mr. Harris holds
a Master of Arts degree in Theatre, a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Communications, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education
from Villanova University. He did extensive graduate work in Theatre
at the Master of Fine Arts in Acting program at Florida State
University in conjunction with the Asolo State Theatre. Mr. Harris
also did intensive graduate work in Gifted Education at Nova University.
Prior to his University education, Mr. Harris was educated at
Chestnut Hill Academy, Methacton High School, Plymouth Meeting
Friends School, and the Holland School.
Terry
Harris is the host, writer, and producer of The
Renaissance Series, an educational video series on
the arts. He is also the host, co–writer, and co–producer of The
Chinese Acupressure Facelift video . Terry Harris
has hosted such television shows as The Rebuilding of a
Smile for WFMZ TV, and The Culture Corner
– a television show devoted to the arts, that aired on PCTV. Mr.
Harris is also the host, producer, and co–writer of the video,
Hypnosis: The Key to Unlocking Your Mind’s Power and Potential.
He is the creator, writer, and producer of Wavelength,
a children’s educational television show. The pilot show was produced
in conjunction with Time–Warner Cable of Reading, Pa.
As
an actor, Terry Harris has appeared in over 50 TV Commercials,
including several as the spokesperson for New Frontier Magazine.
He has performed in over 30 plays, 35 corporate videos, and over
250 print ads, including a national print ad for Century 21
Home Improvements. In 1998 and 1999, he appeared in a major
print modeling ad for Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud. His
commercial print modeling work includes magazine ads, newspaper
ads, billboards, and brochures. He has acted with the Philadelphia
Theatre Company and The Villanova Summer Shakespeare Festival.
As
an educator, Terry Harris has taught Gifted Education, Theatre,
English, and Speech at a variety of educational levels. Mr. Harris
has served as the Gifted Coordinator for Secondary Education at
Wilson School District in Reading, Pennsylvania. He taught Theatre
and Integrative Arts at Penn State University from 1994 to 1998.
Terry Harris has written such books as The
Loneliest Leprechaun, Resplendent Rainbow,
and the collection of poetry entitled Cape May, My Love.
